Moll In The Wad was clearly one of the most popular late eighteenth/early nineteenth century tunes with many, many sets of dance figures published with it. These include Platt 1796, Cahusac 1797, Smart 1798, Lavenu 1798, Preston 1798, Bland & Weller 1798, Plat 1798, Fentum 1798, Riley6 1799, Wilson: Treasures of Terpsichore, Hardy Mss 1800, Clare Mss. I took one of them, made a few interpretations and created this.

The interpretation that has been published by the EFDSS uses a Scottish allemande figure for B2 and not one of the multiple 'English' allemandes.
