Victor says " I am a fan of Baroque trumpet music. I heard this tune on the Canadian Brass CD, Renaissance Men, and realized that as a dance tune, it needed a dance. This may be one of the best examples of bringing out the dance already in the music. The last section seemed natural as “Up a Double”. Arming seemed reasonable for the beginning, so a “Reverse USA” format became the natural result."
