Notes

In each circle, #1 man is facing clockwise

2
The turn 1½ in B2 is really more like turn 1¼ and then let go and keep moving forward.

Written as a birthday present for Joy Stanway. The tune is a popular tune for North West Morris. This version comes from the Rev R Harrison's Ms, c1815, Cumbria. Kissing in English C ountry Dances, which had been prevalent in England in the seventeenth century, was also very popular in thye 1970s (but not in folk dance clubs!).
