Michael Barraclough says: This is a dance where it is not clear exactly what figures the original dance described. However, we can be reasonably certain that the figures given by Ken Sheffield are not what was originally intended. Also, whilst it is not clear whether all duple/triple dances at this time had an introduction (even if not shown in the original), there is no evidence for the concept of a 'finale'.
