Michael Barraclough says: Ken Sheffield has condensed the original triple minor dance to a duple minor dance by using the 'next 2nd couple' as a '3rd couple' (whose sole role is to act as posts). The A1 & A2 are as per the original dance but B1 & B2 use figures which were not known at that time (gates and double figure eight).
