Notes
Notes
1
Music is a 4-bar B repeated followed by a 10-bar B
2
The Sicilian Circle Improper formation is like a normal Sicilian Circle, but you and your partner are swapped over so the lady is on the man's left.
3
This is a variant of The Institute, but with partner interaction to satisfy American sensibilities!
4
The tune is published in "Country Bumpkin" and Other English Country Dances (which also contains The Institute) and is available from the Country Dance and Song Society (CDSS) Store. There is also a version of the tune in Barnes. Listen to the tune played by Pyewackett!
