The tune, Apple Butter Pot was composed by Dan Page in 2005. The printed music is available in BC Fiddle Tunes Too and in Fresh From Dan’s Hall. The tune has been recorded by the Dancehall Players on their CD, Fresh From Dan’s Hall.

The dance is to mimic the making of apple butter: A1 picking the apples, A2 peeling them, B1 heating to boiling, B2 full rolling boil and then off the heat!
