Notes
Notes
1
In A1/A2 the crossings are right shoulder, like half a gypsy to change places
2
Sausage: Hold hands in long lines and the couples at the top and bottom join hands so that the whole set is linked in one flattened circle.
3
Turn Single: Everyone takes 4 steps turning right into the place of the person on their right. Those at the ends of the lines have to cross to the other side. Holding hands in a sausage helps the end people to remember where they are going. After each Turn Single you should be facing someone of the opposite gender.
4
'Slithy' is from Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky, and as Humpty Dumpty explains, is short for 'lithe and slimy'!
5
John likes to use the track New Green Dress / Molly's Polka from Climax Ceilidh Band's album Five Play
